The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

I was on my way to college when I got a call from Anusha chechi as i picked  i got to hear the news today's chairman slot goes to me 😌.   I was expecting my  optional viva to happen but as all say if there is no twist what fun yaar😂  I was tensed yet cool ,with my works i headed to attend my viva . The viva went smooth , i was able to answer properly with confidence. Special thanks to my friends as they encouraged and was with me throughout 💗 Optional viva too went well . Am so happy that I could successfully complete the commission .  like all i  too didn't want to be in chairman's slot but after getting the opportunity it actually feels so good , it was a nice experience 😊 Am happy that chairman too liked my class  So the 3 day commission ends here with happiness, all the hard work payed off 😊 Kudos to a great day 🎈

 After days and days run finally commission day is here. I had general and physical education viva today , with two bags  heavily loaded reached College by 9 Went straight to my class and kept my optional works in the side room . Anusha and Anjitha Chechi was there preparing for the viva. I joined them , i had physical education viva first so,  took the record and started learning. Within few minutes we were asked to go to the respective halls . Surely was i tensed , the cool way  in which the sir interacted made me relaxed. Sir was soo nice and pleasant. I with a smile wished him . After buliding a good rapport sir asked few questions to which i answered with full confidence. Sir before letting me go wished all the best for my future ventures .  The 2 day sports meet ends.... 13th September 2022  Sports meet begun , the very first event was shot put. I had given names for shot put , running race , discus throw and relay. I was lucky to get 2nd prize in shotput ,with such a wonderful start i was totally into enjoying the meet.  1st years events too were simultaneously conducted . I enthusiastically watched the events . Discus throw was also conducted unfortunately I didn't win any prize. Around 12:30 the days events ended. After which i along with Anusha Chechi came to class and completed few pending works and left the premise by 2:30pm. 14/09/22 With March past followed by flag hoisting the final day of the meet started. Today finals were conducted running race was the first event .  I had no hope but as you say you never know 😂 i secured 3rd prize . Javeline throw was an event i anticipated to watch. After the splendid onam celebration at clg we got a break to enjoy our vacation. Onam was special this year that's because i celebrated onam as a teacher and a student . Yes it's true as a student i had a blast in mttc Meanwhile as a teacher i experience a magical onam in GHSS Peroorkada. At home the onam vibes were equally fun filled.  After such an enriched festive spirit stepped into college to resume the teacher training phase. First hour joju sir came and gave us the important points to be noted while working on project. Then we had optional hour during which we submitted our works followed by completion of penting works. We had class till 2:30 only as today was the last day of onam celebration in the district . Tomorrow sports meet is organised looking forward for the day.....

 Here am back to college after the 30 day internship programme. It was so refreshing to be back, i was happy to see my friends again . We had optional hour during which we submitted the record book and other works related to the teaching practice. We had a meeting in the general hall were one student representing each school came forward to share the experience as a whole. Everyone had at least one different experience  to add apart from the general expected ones. The one I still remember is the ones who went to st. Mary's school were they got the opportunity to celebrate two onam. Yea! They got the opportunity to celebrate onam with students as well as the teachers. After sharing the experience principal sir welcomed us back to mttc . Now hardly one month left in completing b.ed. We are going to be busy with submission and project works Hope everything ends on a happy note.

 The onam exams were going on ,though our teaching practice ended last day the HM asked us whether we are interested to come for invigilation. I couldn't say no as we all loved the school, the students and the postive environment the school gave. So yes here iam to invigilate, it was a different experience for me . I got invigilate 10th , 9th and 8th STD students. I went back to my school days were i used to attend these exams . The tension filled times , how the question paper is going to be whether tough or easy , whether i would  finish it on time. All these thoughts crossed my mind. Now here am as a teacher .. how quick time flies.. knowing how the students feels i tried my best to keep them calm and asked them to attend every question whether they know it or not. I also reminded them about the time every half an hour so that they are on track. After the invigilation , collected the answer papers and gave it to the concerned teachers and went back home .

 Today we reached school by 9:00 and met our respective teachers. We interacted with them and thanked them for their support and love  We even met the HM and thanked her for the constant support. We as a gesture of love from our side gave sweets and bid farewell. 

 It's officially the last day of the 2nd internship programme. As usual i had 2 periods to take. In the 2nd period i had to attend 9A .  I entered the class , students greeted me after which I gave a quick revision of the chapters dealt Then i used the remaining time to interact with them. They shared what they felt my teaching style. Students also surprised me with lots of gifts. I was really touches by the gesture. After serving the midday meal i headed to 9B. I interacted with them as well. They too expressed their thoughts about how they felt. It was nice to hear their thoughts and feelings. I clicked pictures with them and thus my last day of  teaching  practice ended.

 Today i had afternoon hours. I had planned to take an awareness programme on drug addiction for 9B . With the laptop i headed to class and gave students an awareness about drugs and it's addiction. Students were cooperative.  They carefully attended the session.  Last hour i had class for 9A. Since my portions were over i interacted with them . I got so much love from them which made my day 

 Since Thursday was holiday we had class today. As i entered school many children greeted and smiled. I had only one class to attend (9-B)  So i thought of correcting the papers by that time. Then at 11am went to the class and thaught them grammer. After the class as i came back Sari Krishna ( one of my student) came asking for a re-test as she was absent the other day. I asked her to come after lunch for the test.  Today St.thomas Student teachers served the meal. I along with few of my companions went to take food. Todays special was the "pickle ".  It was soo yummy that i kept on licking my finger 😂. I even asked the cook aunty how it was prepared . After the lunch , i conducted re- test for sari and corrected the paper she scored good marks which made me happy. Till last period i did some pending works and during last period 3 of the students from 9B came to learn Malayalam from Kavitha. Today in Kerala saree stepped into the school premise. All the student teachers were too in the same . Students were complimenting us for wearing it 😊.  I had 3rd period in 9A and 4th period in 9B. I taught some grammer to them. Achievement test was conducted for 9B . Student . After lunch , i corrected a few papers so far they have done good . The day ended with clicking few pictures 

  Today TTC trainers arrived they too occupied with us . During free time interacted with them and got to know about their training style. Maya miss came to observe my class. I took grammar portion - subject and predicate. Students responded well and ma'am pened downed her comments in the observation book.    The day ended with National Anthem 

 Today after morning assembly i was engaged in lesson plan completion. I have one more lesson to complete which I planned to finish off by next week. Though I had only 2 periods today i got one more period which helped me to complete an extra lp in 9A. It was a continuous class so i gave a 5 minute break it was during that time I got this surprise. Neethu one of the student handed over me a paper I was surprised and emotional she gave one chocolate as well along with it. The paper had  my image drawn i was immensely touched ,she said "this is a gift for my favourite teacher , i wish miss stays here forever"  This is my first time receiving such a special and precious gift from a student . I didn't know what to say.. i gave her a hug and thanked her for her effort. I showed it to the rest of the students  they expressed their cheers with clap.    Memorable day 💖

 Today reached school, as i entered i couldn't find my fellow mates there, later came to know that due to NSS camp we were shifted to third floor. It was a spacious classroom with proper light and fan facilities. I had only one period to take so with relaxation completed my lps.  The poem Song of a dream was completed, appreciation, poetic devices were discussed too . After lunch i got to know that finale of patriotic song competition was going to be conducted. I got the opportunity again to judge . This time with the Hindi teacher gopika also occupied the panel. About 6 teams were there. Students sang with lot of passion . It was a tough decision but still managed to arrive at  conclusion . After the judgement 5th B students called me to help them with the dance program to be held on 15th of this month . I taught them few steps and formations. After that library digitisation was done   With some smiling  waves the end ended.

 Today morning assembly was there , students were assembled in the auditorium . Special pledge and speech were organised as part of quit India movement day celebration. After that i prepared few PowerPoint presentation and picture cards for the up coming class. After lunch Meekha miss came for observing me and Uthara chechis class. I had 6th hour were as chechi had 5th. After observing her class ma'am came in. With confidence i staring off, luckily students were active too though it was afternoon session. My class went smooth i made use of ict for glossary reference and some audio and picture cards too. Students cooperated well.  After miss left , came back to auditorium were quiz competition was going on . While I was preparing for writing my lp, 5B students came in asking help to teach them dance for independence day. I went along with them and taught few steps. Then last hour i had to take 9A .  With National Anthem the day ended.

 Today got the opportunity to be a judge for patriotic song competition for UP section. Littleones with so much energy and enthusiasm came forward to sing melodiously. The program was conducted at 1pm after lunch. The judgement was not tough and confusing as most of the teams sang by looking into the paper chits. After the judgement we were asked to consolidate the marks and thus the winners were selected. It was a new experience for me together.

 After 2 days leave (due to heavy rain) back to training period. Reached school by 9:00 ,after parking my Scooty i started completing my lp. I had 3rd period in 9B. Before going sir from our college arrived for observing Arathy and kavitha's class. They were bit tensed and surprised to see him . I completed the target lesson plan. I also asked the students to complete their notebook and submit it on next tuesday. After lunch i had the chance to engage a substitution hour in 7A. Instead of playing games i asked them to share their opinion about the decision of the court to ban boys/ girl's only school. A variety of opinions came i was glad that students had a their own stand regarding this change.  The day ended with 10 standard students engaging in some games during their pt hour.

 Today it was raining heavy since morning. After reaching school i started to prepare some powerpoint meanwhile assembly was about to start. Rain did disturb the whole atmosphere. While the assembly was going on i saw a familiar face , as i payed more attention recognised that it was Maya miss . We didn't expect her visit today so was surprised to see her. Once the assembly got over miss started to attend each one's class she observed 6 class i had only afternoon session. Miss said that she will observe my as well as Sandra's class on another day.  In between all these observation Principal sir too reached the scene. Sir too came unexpectedly . Sir went through our records and signed. Sir even observed few classes. All were happy to see sir and Maya miss today. We clicked a picture to remember the days visit.  Today expected to finish off the chapter "Maternity" since I had morning hours in both 9A and 9B. I was all set to go but suddenly few teachers came and they were setting up the projector and thus got to know that a programme was arranged for the children. Students class wise came and settled in the auditorium. At first it was told that 9th standard students will not be called so i went to take class but as i was about to begin they were too called for attending the program I lost my 2 hours class and my planning of completing the lesson flopped 😌. The program was an awareness program on Menstruation . A reputed lady doctor was the guest who conducted the  class. It was an effective session which cleared every doubt that children had about Menstruation. Do's and don'ts were discussed too. The program was worth attending which made me happy "the loss was of worth" The program concluded around 12:20 . After lunch completed the record works.  I even went to 7...
