 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

 Today though was bit tired and unwell still headed College . Morning session was handled by optional teachers. The remaining works to be finished for the sem was done.  After lunch the finals of chess competition was conducted. Todays match was so intense that I had no clue who would win. The match begun after a toss . Subin won the toss and he  got the chance to select the side( he choose white side) The match thus begun and silence crept in. It was a thight competition. After one hour 2minutes time was allotted for making the move. Reeba chechi was fast and Subin found it bit difficult to make it quick . Then suddenly the call check mate and we got the winner 🏆 Subin played well still Reeba chechi took the trophy yes!!! I must say she is superb player . The most interesting thing is though in the pregnency state with time to time stress and pain she managed to focus and won which I think needs more applause. Chess Coffee and Comfort by Priyanka Pradeep on 28/10/21

 Today forenoon session was criticism class. Sree Priya and jis took the first class which was based on models of teaching. It was an interesting class Auxillary verbs was taught.  Next class was taken by Kavya and Anooja Chechi that too was based on models of teaching. It was also good. After that positives and negatives of each person's performance was shared . After lunch me and Anusha Chechi went for being observers for the semifinals. Reeba chechi and Revathy were the one's I got to observe. It was a thrilling match, both players were equally focused .  I couldn't  guess the one who would win as such was the pace it went. After a long run Reeba chechi won . On the other table Subin and Sajin were still  playing, it went on till 3:pm ,Subin won and thus the finalists were announced. Last half an hour attended Joju sir class.  Was about to head home but  it started to drizzle . It was a Perfect time for a coffee so headed to a new chai store which Nikhil and Sreekesh dis

Criticism day by Priyanka Pradeep on 27/10/21

 Today in formals headed to College early. The first criticism çlass for the day was by me and Sreelakshmi (yes the day finally arrived it was my turn to take class) Fully tensed I headed straight to my class. My heart was beating fast as each seconds passed. Finally mam arrived and it was time. I wore the coat ,placed my equipments in position and begun the class. The next 15 minutes passed by without a clue 😂   the feedbacks given by others made me happy as all the efforts payed off. After that Sreelakshmi took her session it was really good. Then Varsha chechi and sister took models of teaching . It was an excellent class. Then  Megha and Devika Chechi followed they too performed  very well 🤗  After lunch there was a surprise session . A sir came and  did a free concert session yes!! A melodious session. Some soulful ,golden Melodies were sung .  As I was enjoying suddenly I was called for the chess session.  Back to college. Today our first criticism class was done. First Georgeena and Aleena took class. They were pretty good . I was the observer for their session. While observing I got to know many things that are to be done while taking class as well as those to be avoided. After their session. Headed to the greenroom were Aparna chechi and Megha's class were to be recorded.Joju sir helped us by giving the general instructions and techniques of using the room and as well as about setting the camera . Both of them performed exceptionally well.  After lunch we had Ancy miss class . Standard deviation was taught. In Maya miss hour human rights education was dealt. Last hour ,in the physical education period rules of chess was taught by Anooja Chechi . Wednesday chess matches are gonna start, Excited for the day .

 Today first hour Maya miss came ,since it's raining we all were bit off. Miss asked someone who learned karnatic music to come forward and sing. Elsa came and sang ,it was beautiful Then to kannaadi koodum kooti song greeshma danced and brightened the atmosphere. Then miss continued the portion. Challenges of higher secondary education was dealt. Next hour Ancy miss taught Range and other problems in Statistics. In between an announcement came and all the teacher's were told to assemble near office. So after finishing off the work it was free time. The yummy samosa welcomed me when i reached the back bench  to see my friends. Joju sir came later, taught about the topic research. After lunch optional hour followed. Did our works then went to library.

The "Good " Day by Priyanka Pradeep on 7/10/21

 Today headed College  bit early than usual. First two hours ,Ancy miss came and taught arithmetic mean . Miss even checked and corrected the answers . When miss wrote" good" for solving the problems it awakened  my inner child ...yes!!! It motivated me to complete the problems faster😂  After that in optional hour remaining seminar and reading and reflection was taken. After lunch  George sir came and taught high jump rules and the remaining games. Then it was library hour after which Joju sir came and discussed the qualities of good teacher. Before ending class the singers of our class came forward and lit the mood.

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. Sir even  taught us how to survive this phase and utilise the lessons covid period made us realise . My partner for the day was Kavitha , though I  had talked to her before ,the interaction with her today strengthened our friendship . It was fun interact

 So finally  back to college. Getting back to old routine was not so easy but still managed and made it to college. Though happiness was there, some kind of uneasiness entrapped me. My introvert self must be the villann . First hour Principal sir gave the general instructions and precautions to be taken while in campus. Sadly our canteen will not be opened which is surely a loss. Joju sir then took the class ,sir gave points on effectiveness indicators Giby miss came next since we requested for "no class  mode" miss asked us how we felt about coming back to campus. The newly engaged and wed girl's were  called upon to  share their happiness. Mam made them dance too. The atmosphere became better as I enjoyed this small Interaction. Even boys too danced and lit up the class. Next Optional hour , all the works to be submitted were given to miss. Aparna Chechi then took seminar on inclusive education. THE GIRL WHO INSPIRED ME by Priyanka Pradeep on 15/2/2021

 Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day. Malayalam optional was the first to perform. There programs were so intense and energetic that I too felt the urge to dance.  With Social science the talent hunt of 2020 - 2022

THE FIRST DAY :ORIENTATION by Priyanka Pradeep 6/1/2021

 A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable. The very first chance to face the audience and to perform happened unexpectedly that it made my day.  A session on time management conducted by Dr. V. Reghu sir was also enduring.
