Today expected to finish off the chapter "Maternity" since I had morning hours in both 9A and 9B. I was all set to go but suddenly few teachers came and they were setting up the projector and thus got to know that a programme was arranged for the children. Students class wise came and settled in the auditorium. At first it was told that 9th standard students will not be called so i went to take class but as i was about to begin they were too called for attending the program I lost my 2 hours class and my planning of completing the lesson flopped 😌. The program was an awareness program on Menstruation . A reputed lady doctor was the guest who conducted the  class. It was an effective session which cleared every doubt that children had about Menstruation. Do's and don'ts were discussed too. The program was worth attending which made me happy "the loss was of worth" The program concluded around 12:20 . After lunch completed the record works.  I even went to 7

 Today after prayer  I went through the lp to be taken today . Second period i had 9A. I completed the lp and gave some homework to be submitted tomorrow. After the class few 9B students came to submit their notebook which I have told to . Many more were yet to come, i checked the notes and was happy that they wrote well more than what I expected. After midday meal duty i had to attend 9B. As i entered many were completing their work . I asked the ones who didn't submit to come forward. Many excuses came up still i gave them one more chance to get it corrected. The class went well. Students were attentive. After the period i had the duty to update the digital library .  While I was doing so  gopika came and resumed her record works , I clicked a picture of her busy completing the lp.  The day ended with the site of 10th students having a  free hour.

 Today assembly was there , students assembled class wise in the auditorium. 10th standard students were the co-ordinators. While I was busy completing my lp Revathy came and  asked if I can  observe her class. I agreed and went along. 8th c was the class ,it was my first time attending the batch. I occupied a chair and Revathy started her lp. To be honest I too learned along with the students such interesting was her class. Though I planned to observe what she put in and lacked. I somehow was so immersed in the class that i forgot to think about it. Her way of teaching was with so much ease and coolness that i forgot  my enemity with maths😂. Am planning to attend more of her class😋 as you never know the impossible may come possible 😂 i finally may become friends with maths. After Lunch i had 3 consecutive class to take,2 periods in 9A and 1period in 9B. It was first official class in 9A. I presented the ppt and started the new lesson "Maternity". I even corrected the note

Friday begun with  lots of substitution hours..  Apart from the expected periods , lot of substitution hours we got. The most challenging one was 5B. Since they are small children it was difficult to manage them.  Though they were naughty i had a wonderful experience  attending the class. After lunch too i got the chance take substitution period in 7A. The students exhibited their talents I also joined with them. I also made them play few games.  During my assigned periods in 9A and 9B i completed the target lesson plans.

 Today there was a special assembly as it was moon day. The significance of the day was explained by the HM and few interesting programmes were conducted. This is the official assembly were children assembled in the auditorium. After the assembly on 4th hour headed to 9B . Students were active today. The projector didn't work so had to show the prepared ppts in the laptop. Students cooperated hence the class went smooth. After lunch special programs as part of moon day was arranged. Role play ,songs were the main events arranged. After National Anthem left the school premise.

 Today i had fourth hour in 9B . Since uthara chechi had to get her baby vaccinated she requested me to take 3rd hour for 9A if she arrives late.  I was prepared to take but chechi arrived on time. During fourth hour for the very first time I made use of the projector which was till then unused as it was thought to be broken.  Though the class went well one girl started crying in between which did make me panic . After class I asked her and she told that she had migran she couldn't concentrate hence tears came out. I said her  if it happens again she can rest that's fine with me . I felt bad as i too have friends who have the same issue it's so hard to overcome the pain . After lunch i had no hour to take.  Kavya sree asked my help to click some pictures so i went along with her in 9C. Initially there was trouble in switching on the projector but it luckily got resolved with the help of Uthara chechi. It is my first time in kavyasree's class . A kid who had enemity with

 Reached school , as i had only afternoon class completed some more lesson plans. In the fourth hour the security uncle informed us that a competition is  going to be held around 12:30 . He asked us to occupy in the laboratory for the time being as the competition will be conducted in the room we occupied. Shift to the lab was quick as it was near by ,the first thing probably all noticed was the skeleton 😂 kept inside the cupboard. The room was dusty but fan and light system were good. After lunch i had to attend 9b . The class went well. As i returned two 7th standard students came and asked if I can occupy the period as it was free for them. Without any hesitation i said an yes and with my lap went along. Students were already busy with some practice when enquired got to know that they were practicing a skit for a competition.  Rest of the students asked my name , subject and tried to interact  . It was a nice experience to get to know these budding stars. After the bell i came back

 Today due to traffic block reached school by 9:5 am ,as i entered few of my companions were already there. I had only one hour today that too afternoon.  I kept my bags aside and started going through the portions I had to take today.  After first hour i got to know that there were two consecutive  Malayalam periods  in 9 b . Since I needed one extra hour i happily took the hour and finished off one more lp. After serving the midday meal i contacted Deepa teacher to get the portable projector for   9 b . With the help of Kavitha ( Malayalam optional) i went to the class and tried to connect the projector. We together tried as many ways as possible to fix it but the power supply was some how disconnected . Since only half and hour was there i dropped the plan and showed the ppt in my lap. With kavitha's help i got some photographs for the blog.  Second last hour got to know that there was a pta meeting for 10 th standard students. It was a different feeling to witness it as a teach

 So it's Friday end of the week. Reached by 9:00, i only had one hour that too in the afternoon. Though the projector in the class is damaged i brought my laptop to check if anything can be done. I utilised the morning hours to complete my lp. By 11 :45 it suddenly started raining,since we were provided an open space with sheet  roofing the raindrops were making powerful noise. The dancing winds sprinkle of droplets too accompanied us in lp writing 😆. When it turn out to be downpour I made sure to wait till the sky is cleared to resume writing. Today St Thomas student teachers had the duty to serve. After lunch i went to 9b , tried to switch on  the  projector  but sadly it didn't work I still managed to take the class by showing the prepared ppt on my laptop Students were active though it was an afternoon class.   The school time ended with National Anthem 

 Today  reached by 8:55 . After prayer and pledge i engaged in lesson plan completion. I had only 3rd hour today. When the bell rang after 10 minutes break i entered 9b . Students were busy in collecting books , when enquired got to know that it was free books given by the school .  I begun my class soon after they settled down. I managed to complete my lesson plan smoothly. Students were energetic and responded well. Groups were divided and names were assigned . Discourse was given to which they participated well. After the class as i came back to my assigned hall . An unfamiliar face (who happens to be a sir )came in and interacted with us . He was a former Mttc student teacher. He enquired about principal sir and the teachers and asked us to send  his regards. Sir then handed over few drawings which were posters that children made as part of world population day.  Yesterday after the lesson plan correction and a small prayer session we all were prepared and eagerly waiting for our final internship practice. Today 13/07/22 off to our respective schools for the intense teaching practice session. Reached  school at sharp 9 am . After signing the Attendence register headed to the space allotted for us. I went through the timetable to make sure the period i had . Fourth period i had to take class for 9 B . I had planned to  introduce myself and get to know the students since it's my very first session with them. As i  entered the class students greeted me , then asked each one to introduce themselves. One interesting part was the variety of hobbies they had ,it did amuse me  that there were a bunch who had talent in gymnastics, kalaripayattu , cooking and so on... After creating rapport with them i introduced the lesson that i will be dealing with in the coming days. I had shown them a small video clip thus introducing them to the lesson "

 Today at 9 am reached Government Girls Higher Secondary School peroorkada . Me and Revathy went to  the headmistress room and handed over the letter . We then went to the staffroom to meet our respective subject teachers.  With uthara chechi i entered the room ,only one miss was present so enquired her about our subject teachers ,she informed us that they at present in class.  We had no option but wait,luckily  English miss came in so we asked her the timetable she gave us a slip we took a photo of it. We requested her to give atleast one 8 th and one 9th class but since St.thomas student teachers were also present we only got 9th class . Miss told us to wait till second period to get the portions to be taken.  We headed to a small space which had few desks and benches  arranged.  St Thomas student teachers were there doing their paper work.  Today First hour joju sir came, sir informed us about the works that are need to be done in this sem. We need to prepare an E- content which should be submitted within one month time. After a quick visit to the new canteen, We got back in class and we were eagerly waiting for knowing the schools alloted for our  final internship programme. Principal sir came and gave us some basic instructions  after which Neena miss read out the list . All i wished for was to get a different school this time that too  a government school . Ghss Peroorkada 😍  it is a school very close to my house . I always had the desire to go there and my wish is granted.  It's a government school and am super excited to experience what it has to offer 😊 Revathy is the leader and i was made the assistant leader for the group consisting 8 members.  1/2/22 Today Sem 4 officially begins. Principal sir came and welcomed us to the final semester. Joju sir gave an overall idea about the sem followed by some powerful motivation. After a tea break Ancy miss came and talked about our project details. Then after lunch optional hour ,miss gave a brief idea about the works that are need to be completed in this semester. We all were eagerly waiting for knowing the schools we are allotted for the final Internship programme.  It was informed by Neena miss that by Tuesday we will get to know about it and by 13th our intership will most probably begin. All excited to meet the new bunch of students who will give  new moments to cherish....✨
