 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

 Union inauguration was the highlight of the day. Juniors we're engaged in setting up the stage and other necessary needs. The program was a success.  Afternoon session cultural programmes were organised  . One of my dream to perform a dance cover of  a kpop band that i liked finally took place. There were other dance numbers too. The flashmob that we did as part of our community living camp was also performed. The programmes  of our juniors we're  powerful and attractive .  The event ended with Principal sir and Joju Sir joining with us on the dancefloor. Yet another day to remember....

 The 5 day camp ended with tons of memorable experience. The second day camp started off with an informative session by  Mr.Reny Antony sir . Sir discussed about child labour and child rights protection system. The afternoon session was handled by sub inspector of police Vinod Vikramadithyan sir on the topic " challenges in classrooms and society as a whole" . Sir shared his experience and also about the incidents that are taking place around us .

Camp begins... By Priyanka Pradeep on 14/3/22

 Our camp officially started today. With a prayer song and a dance the program begun at sharp 9:30 Ancy miss the camp coordinator welcomed everyone to this year's community living camp. Sri Sunil Kumar ( Assistant professor M.G college) lighted the lamp. After freshment the afternoon session was handled by Sri Subin Antony (an alumnus of mttc) . The ice breaking session was the best way to start off the camp . All of us enjoyed the class . Sir inspired us all to become a better and meaningful teacher.  Being the leader of first group along with sajin, our group was assigned to coordinate the afternoon session .As per the instructions given by miss we divided the member's of the group into different committee. There were around five committee which were Reception, Refreshment, Decoration, Cleaning and Purchasing. We successfully coordinated and was appreciated for our efforts.

 Today first hour we were asked to visit  library and continue our project discussion. Later Joju sir came and taught us planning and it's  importance . Then Principal sir came to give the instructions regarding  this semester programme followed by guidelines regarding tomorrow's field trip. Ancy miss also gave the necessary information related to next week's community living camp. Groups and the respective leaders selected was announced , i was in awe as i got to know that I was  the girl leader in group one. Another surprise was that the name i suggested was selected as the Camp name "Euphoria"🤗 After lunch Ancy miss came and gave more clarification about the camp. After that Oath taking of 66th college Union took place. It was a well organised programme. With a sweet the function ended.

 Today first hour was taken by Maya miss. Ma'am taught us about fundamental duties and rights.  After the class had a  tea break and quickly went to take printouts that are to be stuck along with the conscientization report.  Ancy miss took the next 2 hours . As i entered the class ,miss was talking about the community living camp. She briefed about how the program is going to be planned . All were happy to  know that it is going to be  scheduled for next week. The moment of joy sadly disappeared as miss announced the rate for the camp.Some even expressed their disapproval . Miss as promised to consider our opinion too before the final decision. After the discussion miss continued with her class. Pollution, mining, ways to conserve environment, sacred groves were the topics discussed today. After the class had lunch then George sir came and discussed about the topic "posture" - the causes of  postural deformity and exercises that would help to correct ...

Initial Orientation "Project" By Priyanka Pradeep

 Today our juniors went for field trip thus general hour teachers were not there . First hour was optional during which we completed the pending works. At 11 am we had Principal sir's class. Initial Orientation of the project was the session about. Project  Sir presented sample works for guiding us to select and prepare topics for the project which will begin in the coming semester. After Lunch went to library to refer the sample project works Last hour union organised a program in the memory of late  actress K.P.A.C Lalitha.

Honestly was not in a mood to attend the class   I was unable to divert my mind as those smiling faces were flashing in . Yap !! i do miss those children whom I taught for the past one month. First hour giby miss came , miss taught about Lifeskills .  1) Self awareness 2) Empathy 3) Communication 4) Decision making 5)Critical thinking 6) Creative thinking 7) Problem solving 8) Inter personal relationship 9) Intrapersonal relationship 10)coping with emotions Then we had Maya miss class , miss taught us about "four pillars of  learning "after lunch it was optional hour , Since miss is absent George sir called us( English optional) to conduct the yoga test . Though was tensed, without much problem succeeded in completing the test. Today Anusha Chechi was having her birthday we attempted to make her day special . Am happy that we were able to bring a wide smile on her face 🎉🎉❤️

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session.  A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable.  Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
