Today reached the school premises around 8:55. Parked my scooty and headed straight to the staff room. Few teacher's were present after wishing them i sat down in the space that was provided to me. At sharp 9:30 the prayer started after which i headed to 8th C.
Students were very excited as the batch one student's are seeing me in person for the first time. Their mask failed to hide the smile (so do the eyes).
Though all were prepared for the revision test i decided to finish off the extra lesson that was assigned to me.
One hour went quickly and it was time to leave .
Students were eager to know whether I will be there on Friday . I assured them that I will and it's gonna be my last class with them .
Next hour was free hence sat in the staff room and went through the question answers provided at the end of the chapter that is left to be taken.
At 11:30 the bell rang and i approached 8th A. Previous hour miss was still there so I waited outside. I could hear her voice very clearly though I was standing outside.
It was clear that students were not responding and they didn't prepare for the revision test which the miss has told to. With a last warning the miss stepped out from the class.
I was intensely thinking about how to make them cheerful. As soon as I entered and saw there faces it was clear that all were sad and worried.
After turning on the live stream I asked them all to take a five minute break .
Through a quick informal talk i managed to bring back the lost smile on their faces.
The One hour class went so smooth with their interactive participation.
After the class I made them to write a feedback letter. This was my last class in 8th A. On a happy note i ended the class. Students said that they will miss me which I guess is my greatest achievement.
