 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

HERE COMES THE CARMEL STORIES By Priyanka Pradeep on 15/1/2022

 It was a hectic week for me . As i entered the school the very first day itself I had to handle two classes .

First met the principal and got her wishes then was directed to meet the respective teachers.

As i had only the second and third hour i had time to get to know the details of the school.

To my surprise only few students were in class and I was informed the rest are going to attend online . 

I already knew that livestreaming is the procedure followed but I expected few more students presence .

As i was new to this system and I lacked a personal laptop it was difficult and I had no clue how to proceed . I asked  whether I will be provided one but the school had no extra system available. 

Luckily the concerned teacher gave her laptop so with her support the difficulty was temporarily solved. 

Mean while it was time for the second hour. I headed class 8th A, Preethi miss introduced me to the students. Laptop was set i  opened the meet suddenly good morning miss was heared from those in online and offline.

I had no idea how to teach as both online and offline is happening together. I had no way to show the power point nor was there space to put the chart , the perplexing state continued the next days too.


Now it's been two weeks and am  handling the situation much better. I even bought a laptop which surely helped.

Currently only online classes are going on and which I guess is much better compared to livestreaming. Iam able to properly show the prepared powerpoint and grab the attention of all in class .

Talking about the students I must say both the 8th and 9th class  are filled with interesting and lively children.

They address me as ' Priyanka miss'. I hope to give my best to enrich these young minds

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. THE FIRST DAY :ORIENTATION by Priyanka Pradeep 6/1/2021

 A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable.  Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
