 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

A different Teacher's day by Priyanka pradeep 6/9/21

Yesterday was Teacher's day ,this time it felt different since am also preparing to be one.

Enthusiastically started the day with a message filled wish to all my Teachers.

Teachers are the one who inscribed in us the motive to have a goal towards life. Knowingly or unknowingly we fail to recognise it. Every teacher in one way or the other have put a source of input for us to grow. It's from them we learn to step out to face the world . 

Thanking each and every teacher who  lead us  in our journey is thus inevitable.  Our College union organised a Teacher's day video release a gesture of acknowledgement .

Wishing all a Happy Teacher's Day😊




 Today first hour Joju Sir came. It was supposed to be a seminar day but since so many doubts came up regarding how to take ,sir gave one more week time to prepare.

The days session started off with sir thanking for the Special video release by union. Sir gave a thought on how Teachers should be and then moved on to clearing doubts regarding seminar. After that sir taught about current Evaluation process . Sir suggested us to share our opinion about what modification should be made.

Personally I think semester method is better since load of learning is reduced.





Next hour Maya teacher came. Miss continued to teach about Buddhism. Methods of teaching was dealt.

Methods of teaching

*Oral instruction

*Discussion

*Meditation

*Educational tours



Cause of decline was also dealt,which include 

Barbarianism and invasions,decline of royal patronage, impact of sankaracharya's preachings etc

Last hour was optional ,miss gave us work to complete ( lesson plans )

We were asked to watch few videos that mam recommended on video editing and camera angles.

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. THE FIRST DAY :ORIENTATION by Priyanka Pradeep 6/1/2021

 A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable. THE GIRL WHO INSPIRED ME by Priyanka Pradeep on 15/2/2021

 Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
