 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful ЁЯТЬ (especially 4th semЁЯШВ) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey ЁЯТЬ Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day ЁЯТл

"Induction" day 1

In saree headed to college from there with the team off to 'St. John's Model Higher Secondary School'.

My first Induction day thus begun. We met the Headmistress Rani M Alex and marked the attendance and headed to monitor the school premises. We split according to our optionals ,me along with Sister and Varsha chechi looked around the whole school campus. We even got the chance  to interact with some students. 

Seeing kid's busy with assignment and exam stress took me back to my school life, felt nostalgic.

The school as whole was spacious . There were enough open space for students to play games. Canteen facilities we're also available. We even went through some magazines and newsletters while visiting the library of the school .


With Nikhil (from physical science) got the chance to interview the Headmistress. We asked few questions related to the history of the school followed by some of the new facilities and future plans . Overall the School provides maximum support for building up talented and efficient children who can be an asset to the world outside.

Studies during Covid pandemic as we all know was not so easy. What fascinated me was that the school took the initiative to make the online classes available for all. They made sure Smartphone or Television facilities are available to each student. Those who couldn't afford them we're provided with the equipment's by the team effort of faculty members and Principal of the School.

After the interview headed to classroom that was provided for us . Having lunch among a mixed set of classmates (ie different optionals) was fun( I really missed pickles though...). Afternoon session went by discussions and report planing. Before leaving the premise we were again asked to mark the attendance.

Headed to college canteen to have a refreshing lime juice 

Thus the first day Induction came to an end....

The online class started with optionals. Tintu miss continued the topic discussion. TPR (total physical response) was the main area that we learned. It's definitions and concepts. Then Ancy teacher taught us about Piaget's theory of intellectual development. The terms like schema, assimilation and accommodation were clearly explained by miss. Maya miss session was next it was our first online class with mam. "Teacher and Education" the topic under which mam discussed about the concept 'Socialisation'.  Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. Sir even  taught us how to survive this phase and utilise the lessons covid period made us realise .  Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
