 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

 In saree reached college. Today was our first assembly, 1st year M. Ed batch were the in charge. Back to school memories ya! The lost days were flashing in. With pledge assembly started followed by news and thought for the day.


Campus news was the highlight how they structured the title news and it's content was so innovative and funny. A book too was published  for the college lead by Regu sir and Ancy mam. With Principal sir and Regu sir informative speech, function ended. We sang the college anthem and then national anthem and headed back to class.



Yesterday group activity continued and then we all started to decorate our classroom. Together all of us put our efforts and ideas into making best. 



Next hour principal sir along with another sir came in. Sir introduced our new Arts and Aesthetic teacher. Rest of the session was handled by him. It was a pleasant experience to get to know an artist like him. Since it was an unexpected visit sir didn't prepare much. The class began with a question, what all qualities does an actor need? All gave different different answers one by one but all were wrong. "Voice, Body  and Mind" these were the requirements which all failed to answer.


Todays class circled around "Voice Modulations" using a stick we need to make sounds according to its movement. That is when it goes up we need to be louder while when it comes down the sound slowly decreases. We made different sounds in each round like crying, laughing even the combination of both. The class was so enduring that we felt refreshed. 




Giby mam class was next mam taught the concept learner experience. After lunch went out to buy some charts and decoratives for class purpose. 

Maya miss came in for teaching next. Since its afternoon it was obvious that we all were a bit sleepy and tired. Mam tactically made us to be attentive  by making us sing a song connected with nature (ie, our topic of study was naturalism) few came forward to sing, the last girl sang "kera niragal aadunoru haridha" song to which mam asked some to dance to it. I got up to join, many more girls too came forward thus we all were energised for the hour. Teachers role in naturalism was taught. Followed by how naturalism is applied in today's education. In a classroom were naturalism is applied children's would feel free and they become autonomous hence it's more child centered. 




Ancy mam came she explained the stages of moral development by kohlberg .Joju sir occupied the last hour sir gave seminar topics and also suggested a few books to read like "the power of positive thinking", How to win friends and influence people, Skill with people etc.. 

The day ❤👧ended peacefully....

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. Sir even  taught us how to survive this phase and utilise the lessons covid period made us realise . THE FIRST DAY :ORIENTATION by Priyanka Pradeep 6/1/2021

 A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable.  Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
