 The day has arrived... I officially graduated from Mar Theophilus Training College. The journey started on 6th Jan, the urge to write the blog was purely coz of my love to pen down moments. As it went down it became a routine. When it was said that we need to update blog as part of our course  i initially felt stressful . I didn't want others to be in any trouble coz of my daily update . When it all came to an end am happy that my blog actually turn out to be useful 💜 (especially 4th sem😂) Lots to share but I think some should be left as such coz we might ruin the beauty with which it's inked in the mind. All i have to say is a big thankyou to all those who were with me in this journey 💜 Mirage moments ends here with the hope of unfolding a new chapter some day 💫

 Should I go or not to go the day begun in a dilemma, but finally made the decision and went to college. First hour was occupied by our Principal sir, today's topic was" Skill based Instructional Design:an introduction "

The class was about Micro and Macro teaching sir gave a detailed explanation of the topic after which sir moved on to the term " Skill " Skill is a combination of 'n' number of facts ie, composite process. For a teacher" meta cognitive skill "is a requirement. Sir also taught about the various teaching skills a teacher should possess." A student mind should be  'Tabula Rasa' (a Spanish word) that is it should be in clear state then only can a teacher draw new things on it", the main skill a teacher need to develop.





After principal sir session we went to take break, had a hot coffee which set my mind ready for the coming hours. Giby miss came, discussed on two more scope of Education psychology. After the class ma'am shared the story of Charlie Chaplin (one which she promised to share with us) it was an intense story which diverted my mind, somewhere I could also relate to it may be that made me too emotional.

After that Ancy miss continued her class on communication. After lunch Maya miss taught a new school of philosophy ie, Pragmatism. In between since many were feeling down mam sang a old lullaby she had known "oonjalae ponn  oonjalae" it was so pleasing to hear her sing. We too sang the famous lullaby "omana thinkal kidaavo"... Such break are a must to bring all into the classroom pace again. 





Ancy miss occupied the hour followed she began with refreshing our previous knowledge we didn't expect this at all our unpreparedness was evident from the sound of flipping pages. 

After that mam started off new unit which dealt with thinkers, today's was 'Froebel' who is the father of kinder Garten. 

Last hour was by Joju sir, he gave points on Principles of Teaching aids with which class for the day ended. 




Many were absent many faces I missed hope all will arrive healthy and happy the coming days....

 Today competency building class was conducted. Brahman Nayakam sir was the resource person. The class started around 10:15 . The unique introduction sir gave referring to sita, hanuman and jambavan itself engaged us in for the session. Sir then referred to his story of covid ulsavam ya! how one by one each member of his family became victim's The core of the class was about what covid era taught us.  C- conscious O- opportunity V- values and vision  I- individual growth  D- Development  Stress management was the next session. It depends on how we react to situations that's what decides the range or level of stress. "Fight or fly " that's the choice we have. Coping with situation is what we need to learn or build. Sir even  taught us how to survive this phase and utilise the lessons covid period made us realise . THE FIRST DAY :ORIENTATION by Priyanka Pradeep 6/1/2021

 A new phase of my life begins here. Choosing Mar Theophilus Training College(Mttc) to do my B. Ed was a not less than a big deal. Spending my degree and post graduate degree in ivanios made me  fall in love with Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, may be that's why choosing Mttc came natural to me. Like any other kid going to a new school I too entered  with lots of mixed feelings. The orientation program was being conducted in a hall. Entering with a smile hidden within the mask I stepped into my life's new chapter  The hall was already half filled. I later got to know that M. Ed batch too was occupied  with us. The whole inaugural function went well, the teachers were giving friendly vibes. The little interactive section by  Dr. Maya. S (assistant professor) was memorable.  Monday morning, reached college early straight to class which welcomed me with pretty smiles. First class was by Giby mam she started off with asking questions to check if we revised or not after which she continued her class. Maya miss hour was followed. Topic- naturalism was taught. A video related to was also shown by miss which somehow aroused a patriotic and what should I say some kind of positive energy within me. Optional period followed since miss was absent we headed to library where we spend a quality time. I took two books related to my academics. After which headed to the reading room. Apart from going through the books that I took, I also looked around and went through the college articles and the campus pulse.  We all enjoyed lunch and then rushed to auditorium to attend the last talent hunt day.
